Sabah, Part2-Mari-Mari Cultural Village

As promised,
continue to blog about my trip in Sabah.

Mari-Mari Cultural Village,
a place where i get to see what i had been listening for years during history class. lol yeah.
Paid 75 riggit Malaysia per pax, including food.

A really nice place near the waterfall.

Before going into the village,
the guide told us to be prepared.
The tribe will come out from the shrubs and shout,
just to scare away outsider like the normal tribe do.
But obviously they're all trained actors, duhh. - -
maybe they're the real tribes but they are obviously acting now.

How they cook Lemang, rice cooked inside a bamboo.
they have different name there, i forgotten what was it. :P

I was excited to see the word 'rice wine'.
but awwww. it's tasteless. D:

Then the really weird bee house.
It's in a bamboo.
eheh, our guide's tummy o_o

The bee girl.
she served us honey ignoring all the big bee humming around her.
she swings her hand to shoo away bee. LOL. At first i thought it was flies.
then only i realize it's beeeeee. o_o
ignore my shitty face please.

then the guide show us how he starts a fire without a lighter.
I'm amused. xD

that thing he's wearing,
it's made from tree bark. ;O

making some traditional desert for us.

there's a story behind this creature.

playing with the shooting thingie.
they used to use it to kill people.

trampoline in a house! :O
i was really really shocked.
they can actually build a trampoline in a small house. o_______________o

Jumping on a trampoline to touch the thing on top of the ceiling.
Pose win, face epic win. LOL sorry handsome.

Then they have the traditional dance show.

And i feel like crying.
this is sooooo shitty, why they choose me up? T__T
this is so humiliating. T_T

the staffsss! (:
the girls are pretty. :DD

our guide! :D

er, smile? =目

Seafoods in Sabah?
hmmm, YUM! :D

迟早要变干尸了.
天气不是讲笑的热.
心不是讲笑的干. -_-

Sabah, Part1-Beautiful Nature

I officially loves Sabah now! :D

Again another family trip to Sabah,Malaysia with a package of RM358++ per pax including air ticket and a 4stars hotel for 2 nights with Fireflyz. :D

First time sitting Firefly.
I was DISAPPOINTED. -_-
my flight was at early morning, and i expect them to give us blankets.
They did not provide blanket. D: I was half paralyzed because of the coldness. -_-

This van pick us up from the airport.
And we're ready for our day trip!
I really enjoy the nature of Sabah.
Sea and mountains! <3

First stop!
To the viewing point for Mont. Kinabalu, a place to have a better look of the mountain.
This is not mont. Kinabalu, it's another mountain beside it. xD

Okay, this is Mount. Kinabalu!
Can't really see the top of the mountain because of the weather. =(
But it was really beautiful. (:

It was raining when we took this photo. xD

Family photooooo. ;D

We then left the place and continue our journey.
On the way, i saw this!
see that waterfall? it was on mount Kinabalu.

NEXT!
The Poring Hot Spring.
In Sabah, it's all about the Hanging Bridges.
You can see these bridges everywhere. ;D
So the guide took us into the 'forest' in Poring Hot Spring.

Really old treeeeeee. :O

(:

Climbing up 550 meter.
Really slippery and tiring. -_-
Sweating like a mad cow when i reach the top.

Everyone qeueing up for the canopy walk.

:O

The bridge can only tahan 6 people.

my legs are shaky after walking the first hanging bridge.

there are around 3-4 hanging bridges there. ._.
the last one is the longest and the most shakiest.

Leg sore after all the walking.
Hot spring water to clear off my leg's soreness. :D

Love this quote.
It was at the entrance of the hot spring. xD

Then we went to the starting point where people starts their climbing to the Mount Kinabalu.

It was a really nice place!
We din't climb the mountain of course.
Just walk around the place.

and the temperature there is er, around 10 degree celcius?
It's really cold. -__-

the mountain, once again.

I saw another waterfall again when i'm leaving the place.

So, that's all for my Part 1 Sabah trip.
There's more to come, soon.
Handsome and pretty tribes! :D

Round face ftw. :D

You saw it right!
I went for blood donation on the 29th of June! :)

I don't know what kind of courage struck me.
I volunteered to donate. Hohoho.
Anyway,
here's some fact you need to know before going for donation:
  • Need to aged between 18-60 years old.
  • 17 years old student needs permission from parents.
  • Weight 45kg above.
  • Have more than 5 hours sleep the day before donation.
  • Did not took any medicine within 7 days before donation.
  • Homosexual, bisexual, prostitutes are not allowed to donate.
  •  Ever lived in the United Kingdom (England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Isle of Man or Channel Island) or the Republic of Ireland from 1980 to 1996 for a period of six months or more are not allowed to donate.
So a few number of my school's students went.
Er, only 6 form five students.
and the rests are form 6 students.
This kakak over here, she's the one incharged of our tour.
She took us touring around the blood bank.
*teacher laughing so happily. -.-

Completing the form.
SPOT ME! :D
Chian Ni's yellow watch sooo distracting.

After finishing the form,
queue for your turn to check your blood type.
And you'll get a red book from the other counter.
After getting the red book,
queue again to got your blood pressure measured in another room.

Then you'll end up like this:
I, fainted. D:
I KNOW, i'm a total failure.
I thought i was much more tougher than this. -_-
Just a little more till the blood bag is full, but i cannot stand already.
The whole world was turning, my vision getting blur, and i cannot hear anything at all.
So i rested for like 15 minutes there. -__________-

The refreshment room.
After donating, you'll get a set of meal. :D

That's the red book i was talking about earlier.
The folic acid and forous thingy.
Once per day to build back your blood, i think.
Btw, I loveeee the keychain alot! Squishy. xD
Feel like going for donation?
